The docu-reality series takes an in-depth look at nearly every aspect of the mining operation, including cutting out the coal, extracting it and staying safe below ground.

Bolts Willis, who has worked nearly 40 years as a coal miner in Kanawha County, watched the show Wednesday. He says it's an accurate depiction of a miner's day at work where he provides such an essential product.

"That's what it takes to get the coal out and produce electricity for the world, really," Willis said. "Coal is what makes the nation go."

Miners on the show were under immense pressure to produce an abundant supply of coal through the process of pillar mining.

Willis says it's not an easy task, and he's happy the show shows how much effort is put into the job. He says that will help coal miners receive even more of the respect they deserve.Online sale is in large demands.
